I often find that patients coming for their first screening or with a specific complaint don’t know what to expect, so I thought it might be helpful to answer some frequently asked questions.

When should we arrive for our treatment? What to bring?

At the first appointment, you will be asked to fill in an anamnesis form, which asks you about your general health in addition to your personal details.
It is therefore important that you have your ID cards with you and that you are aware of exactly what medication you are taking. When a minor patient arrives, please ensure that he/she is accompanied by at least one adult relative.

If you have a panoramic X-ray within a year, it is useful to have it with us, either printed or sent to the practice by email. For all these reasons, it is advisable to arrive 10 minutes before your appointment to allow time for the necessary data to be processed.

It is important to emphasise that you should not arrive earlier than this. Patient appointments are consecutive, with two patients in between preparing the treatment room for the next appointment. In our practice, in order to avoid turmoil and to ensure professional preparation, I always tell people who come to see me that they do not need to arrive earlier than 10 minutes.

Of course, we try to take these factors into account when scheduling your appointment, so that by the time the next patient arrives, we can be ready to give you maximum attention.

So please, if you can, help the staff to ensure a perfect treatment experience. It is important to point out that in case of delay we cannot guarantee that the treatment will be carried out, in which case a new appointment will have to be made.

Although I left it to the end, it is perhaps one of the most important. Think about it, if you call a plumber to your home, you don’t leave your laundry in the bathroom, your belongings in your room, because it will just get in the way of the work.
Brush your teeth before the treatment! I know, many people come to us in a rush from work or school, so we’ve thought of them and provided free disposable toothbrushes so you can clean your teeth at any time before the treatment.
